Hailing from Mangalore, Mr. Prabhakar Shetty built his reputation as a hotelier. With his vast experience of more than four decades in the industry, his vision and energy has given the service industry a new benchmark in hospitality. His retaurant in Chembur, Vaishali, still stands as the finest example of warm hospitality and the best cuisine.

	This boundless energy also translated into a thirst for newer horizons. His intention to make Alibaug the gateway to the Konkan started a trend among the other entrepreneurs. Such was the vision of the man that today, Alibaug is indeed on the way to becoming a major tourist centre. As a pioneer of eco-tourism Mr. Prabhakar Shetty alongwith his associates set forth to make Prakruti Resorts a formidable name not just among beach resorts but in the etnire hotel industry as well.


	Mr. D.Krishna Chowta, co-promoter of Prakruti Resorts Ltd is the Chairman and Managing Director of PC Exports Pvt.Ltd., a merchant export organisation situated in Bangalore, India. He is also the Chairman of Vijayanagar Resorts, owners of Sun Valley Club, a country club in Bangalore, India. He is the Chairman of Powergear Limited, manufacturers of Switchgear and Busducts an ISO 9001 company. He is the Director of Velflex Polymer Pvt.Ltd., the company engaged in manufacture of rubber products. He is also the chairman of the Board of Trustees of Gandhi Vidhyalaya, an educational institute based in Bangalore, India.
